Microneedling is a 30 minute procedure and less invasive in comparison to other treatments. We start the process by prepping the skin by cleansing and then numb the skin. We then create our channels using SkinPen Precision. The first 24 hours you will experience redness which reduces throughout the day. It will feel like a sunburn. On day 2 the skin may feel tight and a little itchy. After 24 hours apply post-treatment creams and SPF. Minimal redness is shown.

• Do not use retinol serums or creams 24 hours prior to facial treatment. This includes natural retinol alternatives.
• Do not use any direct acid treatments 48 hours prior to treatment (AHAs-glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, citric acid; BHAs-salicyclic acid). If these are part of your cleanser, that is ok- just do not use any masks, serums, or toners 48 hours prior.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and sunburns 24 hours prior to procedure. (3 days is ideal- use SPF if outside and reapply).
