Myüz Top 3 Skincare Products for Travel

Myüz Top 3 Skincare Products for Travel

We asked our Myüz girls -

"What 3 skincare products would you bring when going on vacay for 3 weeks if you could only take a carry on?"

With the way travel is right now, we're all preparing to travel light without checking any bags. We know how tough it is to LIMIT your skincare, so we've curated a list of our top picks to help you!

Here is what each of us have picked!

Tina is going to take Cleansing Complex as its amazing for all skin types and it doesn’t strip her skin. The new Active Peel System is her lazy girl routine that delivers amazing results. It’s exfoliating and hydrating, what more could you ask of from a product? Plus, it antiaging as it produces collagen and therefore tightens and brightens the skin. Lastly, we all knew she was going to include an SPF, Extreme Protect in Beige. It’s full of extremeozymes making it antiaging, a bit of coverage and of course its hydrating and protecting the skin.

Okay, so Lait VIPO2 is the best cleanser for travelling, hence why Kristyn is grabbing it. Why? It’s an antipollution cleanser that eliminates impurities, calms the epidermis, and unifies the skin. It also brightens the complexion, leaving the skin with a beautiful, no-maintenance glow! It's lightweight milky formula makes it perfect for using with a gua sha. She also loves how simple it is to use, simply massage into dry skin and remove with a damp face cloth - perfect for a quick cleanse between flights! Kristyn’s next choice is a vitamin C, Pro-Health Serum. This is the best serum for those struggling with acne scarring and compromised skin. Pro-health will protect the skin from free radicals which makes it antiaging. Her last pick is the famous Masque Vivant. A great all around treatment as it energizes, brightens, and purifies the skin. It's also perfect as a spot treatment for any blemishes that pop up during travel. Masque vivant will also nourish the skin with its vitamin B.

Next up are Madi’s picks! We have Eau Micellaire Biosensible - the ultimate lazy girl cleanser and hydrator as it requires no water! A great gentle product for all skin types, even the sensitive ones. Madi's second pick is another vitamin C Serum, just like Kristyn's Pro-Health. This serum is formulated to tighten, lighten and brighten the skin. It's Super Serum! It’s job is to heal and protect with ingredients like Arbutin and Centella Asiatica. Ending it off with another beautiful lux product, Fluide VIPO2. Maximizing that protection with antioxidants and finishing the skin so that products will have a barrier from the environment. Yup, that is what finishing serums from Biologique Recherche will do. Think of it as the top coat when painting your nails, seals it all in.

Rachelle has oily skin so she will be packing up Lait U and massaging it into her skin to cleanse. Thicker in consistency but so gentle and effective for acne skin. Also her favourite time to incorporate lymphatic drainage to help eliminate the buildup of any toxins and cellular waste to help prevent any future breakouts. OoOoOo, Rachelle taking our top seller serum for sensitive, reactive and inflamed skin, that is, Serum Biosensible. It’s the SOS product that will heal the skin in many situations. Protecting her skin with Eclipse from iS Clinical in beige for a light wash of colour and to protect that skin from the harmful rays.

Following suit, Dinah's number 1 pick is cleansing complex. It's her favourite cleanser for travelling as it will gently exfoliate the skin. Next up is Extreme Protect SPF 40 - a no brainer for travel as it is not only a mineral SPF but also an antiaging cream. Finally, as a treatment product, Dinah is going to lather her skin with the Hydra Intensive Cooling Masque which is perfect after spending the day in the sun. Best part, you can sleep with it on and it’ll continuously plump the skin. A great masque to massage and promote circulation and has a nice tingle sensation as well.

Calli's focus while travelling is going to be to brighten and oxygenize her skin. Her first pick to do this is Lait VIPO2 since she will be hiking the trails in Banff. Because she has sensitive skin, Emulsion Gel Biosensible has been a god send for her skin. This hydrating & lightweight cream instantly calms redness, inflammation, and sensitivity. It will soothe and heal any bumps she may endure. And of course, if she’s hiking, she will need to protect her skin from the environment, she’ll be applying her Eclipse SPF in beige every 2 hours!

So, those are our top 3 must have's for travel! Everyones list looks a little different, but we're all centered on the products that work best for *our* skin. Remember that no two skin instants are exactly alike, and the best thing you can do for your skin is listen to it! Take the products that you feel benefit you the most, and remember that travel can cause different issues to arise, so when it doubt it's always best to go with something that is calming, soothing, hydrating, protective, and healing! Happy traveling with nourished skin!
